Dye dilution method for IVDSA
Creators
- 1. Kyorin Univ., Mitaka, Tokyo (Japan). School of Medicine
Description
Circulation time was measured using dye dilution method in order to set optimal exposure program in IVDSA. The time interval for the peak blood concentration of the contrast was accurately predicted by analyzing the dye dilution curve. Clinical application of this method resulted in significant decrease of inadequate program setting, unnecessary exposures, and misregistration. Owing to this technical inprovement, extra-large field imaging, ''whole body IVDSA'', was successfully achieved. (author)
