Methods for taking hold of the human factor
Description
Within the framework of the structuring of a concept for the cause analysis of operational events in nuclear power stations, various Root Causes Analysis methods were studied and evaluated. Root Causes Analysis of events often comprise also the estimation of human (error) capabilities which led to these events. The common methods of analysis have different strengths with regard to the evaluation of system- and components-referenced causes of error and human mistakes. Basically, this presentation deals with the short descriptions of the ASSET, HPES, MTO and VGB HF systems. (author) figs., tabs., 7 refs
