Kinetic studies of the sorption and selectivity of ionites depending on their nature and structure
Description
The values of effective coefficients of interdiffusion and selectivity coefficients during sorption of cadmium and some other metals from aqueous solutions of their salts in case of concentration equal to 0.005-0.05 N are determined. Inorganic ionites on the basis of modified and non-modified zirconium phosphate, as well as certain organic inonites (KU-2; KRPh, KB-4, KB-4P) are investigated as sorbents. It is ascertained that the values of sorptional exchange capacity as regards Cd2+ ions are the maximum one for the KU-2 ionite (1.92 μmol/l at the concentration of 0.05N) and do nor practically vary with delution. Concentrational dependence of the values is more pronounced for the KB-4 ionite
