Conclusion of 'Complex processing of argillite and kaolinite clays of Tajikistan'
- 1. Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dushanbe (Tajikistan)
Description
The issue of processing of argillite and kaolin clays of Chashma-Sang and Ziddi Deposits by means of acid and chloric methods was considered. The decomposition processes of argillite and kaolin clays in wide range parameters of technologic process (temperature, acid concentration, process duration, size of particles) were studied. The optimal conditions of extraction of valuable components (Al2O3, Fe2O3) were defined. The dependence of temperature, process duration, acid concentration on decomposition process was studied as well. The physicochemical and technological aspects of processing of argillite, kaolin clays, siallites and kaolin comprising raw materials of Chashma-Sang and Ziddi Deposits were systematized. The decomposition of above mentioned aluminosilicate ores by mineral acids and chlorine was studied. The optimal conditions of decomposition were defined. The flowsheets of processing of argillite and kaolin clays by means of acid and chloric methods were proposed.
