Properties of doped holes in the antiferromagnetic state of the two dimensional Hubbed model

Description
The authors calculate the self-energy of a single hole in the half-filled antiferromagnetic two-dimensional Hubbard model. The minimum energy occurs at k = ((gp)/2, (gp)/2) and is 37% lower than in Hartree-Fock. The hole lifetime tends to infinity for low-lying states, showing that quasiholes are well-defined excitation. The hole Fermi surface is predicted to change topology for doping concentrations larger than ∼15%
