Description
Numerous researches have been undertaken by the CEA in the field of low-, medium- and high-level radioactive waste processing and conditioning: waste solidification (vitrification, ceramics and crystalline compounds), radionuclides separation (decontamination as well as by-product up-grading). The CEA has also contributed to researches carried out in multinational frameworks such as EEC, OECD/NAE, IAEA, for the ultimate waste disposal
