Description
A polarized electromagnetic physics experiment is described, using the option of polarized internal gas target in electron storage rings. The electromagnetic response of the 3He nucleus was measured, and the three-body system was used for theoretical calculations. The technical aspects of the measurement, and the various asymmetries obtained in inclusive and exclusive experiments are discussed. The emphasis is placed on the sensitivity of the measured asymmetries. (R.P.) 16 refs., 5 figs., 2 tabs
