The effect of UV blood irradiation on immunity in the experiment

  • 1. Vtoroj Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Meditsinskij Inst., Moscow (Russian Federation)

Description

An optimal volume of serum subjected to UV radiation for achieviny an immunostimulating effect is substantiated. It is shown that the boundary between immunostimulating and immunosuppresing action of UV radiation is extremely narrow. It is important to choose with extreme caution an amount of blood to be subjected to UV radiation. It seems to be inappropriate to start working with blood amount exceeding 1 ml/kg
