About the mechanism of the space separation of atoms and ions by radiation pressure

Calculation of light pressure of solar radiation on atoms and ions with known oscillators strengths are given. It is shown that some of those can be accelerated by radiation pressure up to different velocities including the very high ones. These clouds of gas formed after disintegration of compact objects (comets) near the Sun can be separated into several clouds with homogenous chemical composition and intersect the Earth orbit.
