Phase equilibrium in phosphate systems with rare earth oxides and properties of glasses on its base

Description
Glass formation, crystallization concentration dependences of density and refractive index of glasses and crystal-optic characteristics of crystal phases were studied in polyphosphate cross-sections of Yb2O3-Na2O-P2O5 and (Yb, Nd, La)2O3-SrO-P2O5 systems. Glass formation took place in all compositions range. Surface crystallization with high rate of crystal growth was typical for glasses. Regular change was observed in position of figurative points on diagrams with increase of atomic mass of lantanoid and with replacement of alkaline metal in alkaline earth one
