Status of Work on Materials for Advanced HTRs Part 1: Results
Description
This report presents the information on potential materials for Advanced High Temperature Reactors accumulated in the Dragon/HTMP creep/corrosion work in the period 1972 - September 1976. The data presented includes the results of creep tests in a simulated HTR environment and in air, metallographic analysis referring to oxidation and carburisation phenomena and some data on the effects of exposure on the room temperature tensile strength and ductility.
