Control of nuclear fuel and other materials required in the operation of nuclear power plants
Description
The control of nuclear fuel and other nuclear materials in Finland is based on the Finnish nuclear energy and radiation protection legislation, regulations and the decisions of the Council of State as well as Finland's international treaties concerning nuclear energy field. The regulatory authority of the control is the Finnish Centre for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (STUK). The guide summarizes the general requirements for the nuclear material control of the Finnish nuclear power plants. Detailed regulations are presented in the relevant (serie 6) YVL guides
