Problems in on line computerization of the clinical chemical laboratory
Description
A uniform system is described for interfacing various analytical procedures (isotope, photometric etc.) and various instruments (manual and automatic) to the computer. Key-board terminals with associated software transfer results from manual analyses, and certain informations, for exemple patient identification, whereas two types of automatic analyzers are connected on line to the computer. Two-way communication allows computer to arouse alarm at terminal key-board
