Study on nuclear accident consequence assessment and emergency decision support system

The research and development of Nuclear Accident Consequence Assessment System (NACAS) and Nuclear Accident Emergency Decision Support System (NAEDSS) is analyzed all over the world, the paper especially describes the exploitation situation and main features of NARAC (USA), the WSPEEDI (Japan) and RODOS (European Communities). In the paper, development of NAEDSS is discussed through introducing development of nuclear accident emergency decision support system and existing problems all over the world. With more and more attention to nuclear energy in society, we still have a long road to improve our nuclear accident consequence assessment and NAEDSS in recent years. (authors)
