Method for forming of multi-bit information in lasers with passive synchronization of modes

Description
The paper analyzes methods for generating multi-bit information in passively mode-locked lasers. Creation of lasing conditions in a saturated absorber is a method of inputting information into a laser light pulse with synchronization of longitudinal modes. The larger the amount of information, the shorter the duration of the formed light pulse. The mode locking of the laser modes provides high stability of the generated multi-bit information, which is important for digital systems for receiving, storing, processing and transmitting data.
