Description

Description of regulation of radioactive waste management in Lithuania, waste processing in Ignalina NPP is presented. Draft law on radioactive waste management was prepared and presented to the Government. The draft law contains provisions on establishment of radioactive waste management agency. In Ignalina NPP construction of interim storage facility for spent fuel storage is going to be finished. Short information on solid waste management is provided
