Optimization of collimators for gamma cameras with timing modulation of a signal
Description
Collimators optimized according to the static image quality criterion using in gamma cameras with timing modulation of a signal is described. Optimization has been carried out on the (0,1) matrix class describing channels arrangement in the collimator. The advantage of integral introscopes in comparison with the traditional ones is shown. The results obtained can be used, besides radiation introscopy, in the man radiation spectrometry, multiplex registration methods for charged particles, adamarov optical dispersion spectrometers and neutron-correlation spectrometry according to time-of-flight. In the latter case the matrix describes the slit arrangement in the neutron beam chopper. The given approach to optimization and the results obtained are also applicable for introscopes with spatial modulation of a signal
