RFQ ion accelerators
Description
Radiofrequency quadrupole (RFQ) accelerators are low-energy structures well suited for heavy-ion acceleration in the range of up to 1 MeV/u. Work on fixed-energy MeV implanters and RFQs with variable energy will be presented. (orig.)
