A simple two-piece procedure for electron-atom elastic scattering at low intermediate energies
Description
A simple procedure is proposed based on the exact evaluation of the static contribution while the rest of the multiple scattering series terms are treated on equal footing, to estimate the electron-atom elastic scattering cross sections at low intermediate energies. It has been applied to e--H scattering. The present results are found to show a better or the same degree of overall agreement with the experimental data as other existing results. (orig.)
