Development of therapy beam at HIMAC

Description

HIMAC has been supplying ion beams for cancer-therapy clinical trial and related researches for more than 5 years. Present status of operations and recent developments for advancement of therapeutical irradiation are reported. Efforts for beam intensity increase, improvement of extraction control with QDS, and stabilizing extraction direction are discussed. (author)
