Experience with implementation of unified system of training of personnel for nuclear power in the sector of Federal Ministry of Fuels and Power and prospects of further development

Demands on the education and expert training of nuclear power plant personnel are constantly increasing. It will be necessary to link high theoretical standards with high practical knowledge. Certain legal norms are criticized relating to the principles of personnel training and awarding certificates and authorizations. The main tasks for the coming period are as follows: to complete the construction of the branch training centre in Trnava, to staff the centre with teachers and instructors, to raise the level of in-house training at the training power plant, to safeguard the preparation of personnel for WWER 1000 reactors and to issue legal norms relating to health, psychic fitness and specialized skills of personnel.
