HERAFitter - an open source QCD fit framework

  • 1. Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Joliot-Curie 6, Dubna, Moscow Region, 141980 (Russian Federation)

Description

The open source project HERAFitter was established to increase applicability of the QCD analysis in the hadron collider experiments. The framework may be used to extract parton density functions from a variety of experimental measurements and to assess the impact of different data on the parton density determination. It may also be employed to perform data consistency checks and to test theoretical models. This short article covers a parallel session contribution of the ACAT2014 conference. (paper)
