Description

A new type of magnetic fluid is introduced which is a binary mixture of a magnetic fluid and an organic solvent. By using the binary magnetic fluid, a boiling two-phase flow of the fluid is obtained without any deterioration of magnetic properties of the fluid. In this study, a heat transport device is investigated and the effects of positions of a magnetic field on heat transfer and driving force characteristics are particularly investigated experimentally
