Plant and control technology for fusion reactor
Description
Fusion devices constructed and operated to date have been experimental facilities for investigation on plasma physics and basic technology. Fusion demo reactor or commercial reactor in the future will be a power plant that generate and supply electricity and control technology for a power plant that is not applied to experimental facility will be required. Investigating R and D Committee on plaint and control technology for fusion reactor has conducted investigations on the following topics and summarized its findings in this report: Technology trends of electricity grid to which fusion power plant will be connected, Control technologies for current LWR power plant, Control technologies for fusion experimental device, Current status of fusion demo reactor design, Control of fusion burning plasma, Fusion burning plasma diagnostics, Issues and action plan.
