Description

Said invention relates to a sealed device connecting a metal sheet anchored on the internal side of a concrete vessel containing a hot pressurized fluid, with a metallic pipe opening inside said vessel. It is intended for heat insulating structures so-called 'hot skin' used for the pressure vessels of some boiling water reactors. The invention is especially intended for a metallic pipe of thickness greater than that of the sheet and nearly perpendicular to the shell wall at the point of junction. It is intended for appreciably decreasing pressure and temperature stresses in this region

Abstract (French)

L'invention a pour objet un dispositif de raccordement etanche entre une tole ancree sur la face interne d'une enceinte en beton contenant un fluide chaud sous pression et une conduite metallique debouchant a l'interieur de ladite enceinte. Elle s'applique aux structures d'isolation thermique dites a 'peau chaude' utilisees dans le cas des caissons de certains reacteurs a eau bouillante. De facon plus precise, l'invention concerne le cas ou la conduite, egalement metallique, a une epaisseur superieure a celle de la tole et debouche de facon sensiblement perpendiculaire a la paroi de l'enceinte au point de raccordement. Elle a pour objet de diminuer sensiblement dans cette zone les contraintes dues aux effets de temperature et de pression
