Gamma-radiation influence on the structure of hydrogen-containing compounds

Description

By the methods of the X-ray- and neutron radiography the γ-quanta influence on the TiH1.95 - titanium dihydride - with initial BCC lattice (a=0.4454±0.0001 nm) was studied. It was concluded, that γ-quanta are differently influencing on the structures of diverse compounds, and this depends on hydrogen atoms' energy bond with main components of crystalline structure. If in the compound there is rather strong hydrogen's bond with heaver matrix atoms then the phase transformation has been observed otherwise the hydrogen atoms removal from lattice takes place
