Description
A simultaneous description of the NN and YN interactions is possible in the resonating-group formulation of the spin-flavor SU6 quark model, which incorporates the full Fermi-Breit interaction with explicit quark-mass dependence and the minimum meson-exchange potentials of scalar and pseudo-scalar meson nonets directly coupled to quarks. With a small number of parameters, satisfactory agreement with experiment is obtained for the NN properties and the total and differential cross sections of the ΛN and ΣN systems. The H-particle binding energy and Ξ-p total cross sections are also discussed. (orig.)
