This rule is to be applied in the selection and assessment of the examination questions and subjects to be put before the candidates in the written and oral examination of shift bosses and reactor operators in accordance with the rule governing the technical training and examination of nuclear power plant personnel, of October 8, 1974, subparagraphs 3.3.1 and 3.3.2, as amended upon the decision of the Laender committee for nuclear energy on June 11th/12th, 1975. This rule applies to all nuclear power plants as far as the mere General principles are concerned; those parts of the rule relating to specific plants explicitly mention the reactor types concerned, such as BWRs and PWRs, and are to be taken as a guide rule for other reactor types as well. The examination subjects for the written examination are chosen by the applicant or holder of the license who also selects the appropriate examination questions. The licensing authority concerned is to be informed about the subjects and questions chosen for the examination. As to the oral examination, subjects and questions are chosen by the applicant or license holder in agreement with the licensing authority. (orig.) 891 HP
