CP violation through phase angles in weak currents and the relation eta/sub +-/ = eta00

  • 1. Center for Theoretical Physics, Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland 20742

Description

It is observed that in a theory where CP violation is introduced through phase angles between vector and axial-vector currents the relation η₊₋=η₀₀ is exact if φ=ξ, without the assumption of soft pions. φ and ξ are the phase angles for the strangeness-preserving and strangeness-changing currents, respectively.
