Anti-neutrino disintegration of the deuteron

Description
The anti-neutrino disintegration of the deuteron (anti ν + D → anti ν + n + p and anti νsub(e) + D → + e+ + n + n) is calculated using realistic two-body states. Meson-exchange currents are considered in the one-boson-exchange limit. The results are discussed as corrections to the cross sections obtained in effective range approximations. It is shown that the ratio of the cross sections (sigma-/sigma0) for reactor antineutrinos is practically independent of the nuclear physics uncertainties. (orig.)
