Description
Hydrated sulfates of 1-group metals are studied for their effect on regularities of growth, structure and phase formation in boron-silicide coatings on refractory metals. It is established that introduction of hydrated sulfates into the saturated mixture increases barier properties of boride phases and permits forming a boron-silicide coating on niobium and tantalum with different location of boride and silicide layers thus providing its present physicochemical properties
