Process for joint combustion of solid and liquid radioactive wastes in a furnace and device to carry out the process
Description
The solid radioactive wastes are locked into the furnace from above and the combustible liquid radioactive wastes are introduced into the inside of the furnace through a cooled pipe and are pulverized using compressed air. The device is characterized by a double tube in the upper section of the furnace, consisting of an inner pipe to introduce the liquid radioactive wastes into the inside of the furnace and an outer pipe for supplying compressed air for the pulverisation of the liquid radioactive wastes and for cooling the inner pipe. Die festen radioaktiven Abfaelle werden von oben in den Ofen eingeschleust und die brennbaren fluessigen radioaktiven Abfaelle durch ein gekuehltes Rohr in den Innenraum des Ofens eingeleitet und mit Hilfe von Pressluft zerstaeubt. Die Einrichtung ist gekennzeichnet durch ein Doppelrohr im oberen Abschnitt des Ofens, bestehend aus einem Innenrohr zur Einleitung der fluessigen radioaktiven Abfaelle in den Innenraum des Ofens und einem Aussenrohr zur Pressluftzufuhr zur Zerstaeubung der fluessigen radioaktiven Abfaelle und Kuehlung des Innenrohres.
