Description

NSC LINAC Booster consists of 3 cryostats modules containing eight Niobium superconducting resonators each. Besides this it also has super-buncher and re-buncher for optimum beam transmission. At present one Linac module is installed along with Super-buncher. Control scheme is used to control the resonators along with multi-harmonic buncher, High energy Sweeper, phase detector and Super-buncher. Using the control scheme beam is accelerated successfully through the LINAC. This paper describes the features of this control scheme with merits and plan for up-gradation. (author)
