Description
We investigate ordinary-mirror fermion mass splitting, quark isospin breaking, and both Majorana and Dirac neutrino mass seesaw mechanisms in the framework of E6-based superstring-type models with mirror families. Our results suggest that actual realizations containing vectorlike generations should not be overlooked in the search for a realistic low-energy phenomenology
