Spectrophotometric study into extraction of indium pyridylazonaphtholate by chloroform
Description
Extraction of In(3) pyridylazonaphtholate by chloroform out of acetate solution has been studied. Distribution of In(3) pyridylazonaphtholate in the presence of acetate ionS is investigated. The pHsub(1/2) and Ksub(ex) values are determined. Using the method of equilibrium shift the composition of the compound extracted, InRAc2, is established. Extraction reaction of In(3) pyridylazonaphtholate proceeds according to the equation: In3++HR+2Ac- reversible InRAc2+H+ (HR is a reagent, Ac- - acetate ions)
