Bubbling-vacuum system for accident localization in WWER-type NPP
Description
The system is intended for standard dual-cycle NPP of Soviet type. It ensures safety by reduction of the post-accident pressure in the corresponding sealed spaces. The system quarantees economy of the special fittings and preservation of the environment from the concequencies of the possible emergency operational modes of NPP. The system has an enhanced functional reliability which is reached by simplification and switching of the self-closed overflow reverse fittings. Installing of at least one vibration-acoustic detector ensures timely indication of small and comparatively frequent loss-of-coolant accidents. 2 claims, 1 fig
