Die wichtigsten Betriebsdaten des AVR-Atomversuchskraftwerks im 1. Quartal 1974 sind Tabelle I sowie den Abbildungen 1 - 3 zu entnehmen. Am 10. 1. 1974 wurde das Kraftwerk zu externen Demonstrationszwecken ab- und wieder angefahren. Der Generator wurde nach einer Ausfallzeit von ca. 2 h wieder mit dem Netz synchronisiert. Am 21. 1. 1974 wurde das Kraftwerk zur intensiven Ausbildung neuen Schichtpersonals für 10 Tage abgefahren. Parallel zum 2-wöchigen Ausbildungsprogramm wurden - soweit es das Ausbildungsprogramm zuließ - Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten sowie Wiederholungsprüfungen durchgeführt (vergl. Kapitel VII). Außerdem wurden die Meßstrecke im VAMPYR-Loop und das Staubfilter ausgewechselt.
