Management and control of 14C in nuclear power plant effluents

Description
The article describes 14C production and release management, the method to reduce the production and release of 14C, and 14C extraction, purification and analysis methods for pressurized water reactor (PWR) and heavy water reactor (HWR) nuclear power plants. So the paper provides basic information for monitoring and control of 14C in gaseous and liquid effluents for Chinese nuclear power plants. In addition, according to the current situation of 14C emission and monitoring in Chinese nuclear power plants, some suggestions are put forward (authors)
