A high -resolution X-ray detector based on charge coupled device array

Description

A kind of high resolution X-ray detectors based on CCD array is reported. The characteristics of CCD array are briefly introduced and the normally used scintillation materials compared. Its data acquisition circuits are designed. A very good spatial resolution was found when this kind of detectors was used in a micro-focal X-ray computerized tomographic system
