Search for excited level of deuteron by resonance scattering of γ-quanta
Description
An attempt to describe the low energy neutron-proton interaction in 1S0-state with the help of a level at energy less than deuteron bound energy was made in a number of works. The method to search for excited level of the deuteron with the help of resonance scattering of γ-quanta from the radioactive source and first results are described. The high boundary for the level width is obtained as a function of γ-quanta energy Eγ: from 0.2 eV at Eγ = 200 keV to 4 eV at Eγ = 570 keV. (author)
