Description

Study of nitrogen (N) in plant diverged from urea plays a key role in rubber cultivation from which acceptable urea fertilizer regime would be established. Results of research in application of N-15 stable isotope tracer technique showed that at N levels of 1 gN, 2 gN and 3 gN, nitrogen in root, stem and leaf diverged from urea of RRIV 124 rubber had increasing trend from 15 day after fertilizing (DAF) to 60 DAF, then decreasing at 90 DAF. Amount of N in plant derived from fertilizer and % nitrogen in plant diverged from fertilizer also increased from 15 DAF to 60 DAF, then decreasing at 90 DAF. Total mgN in plant diverged from urea at N levels of 1 gN, 2 gN and 3 gN per 1 year old plant were 17.081 mgN; 1.142 mgN and 4.945 mgN respectively. (author)
