Spontaneous infarction in the omentum majus demonstrated by computed tomography

The article is the first to describe a CT diagnosis of segmental idiopathic necrosis of the greater omentum. The disease is of unknown etiology and may mimic the clinical picture of acute appendicitis or cholecystitis. (orig.)

Berichtet wird (erstmalig) ueber den computertomographischen Nachweis einer idiopathischen segmentalen Nekrose des grossen Netzes. Diese Erkrankung unbekannter Aetiologie kann das klinische Bild einer akuten Appendizitis oder Cholezystitis imitieren. (orig.)
