Description

Chemical stability of single-phase alkali-borosilicate glasses in acid solutions in dependence on glass composition has been studied. Chemical stability of glasses with the same Na2O content decreases in growth of molar B2O3/SiO2 ratio in a glass. The field of values of B2O3/SiO2=1.5-1.8 has been established in which change of the character of interaction of single-phase sodium-borosilicate glasses with nitric acid solutions takes place. This change appears in formation of precipitation of difficultly soluble products of interaction on the surface of samples. Quantitative and X-ray phase analysis of equilibrium phases for perset conditions in nitric acid solutions saturated with glass components, is realized
