Nano-bodies, a new generation of radiopharmaceuticals in oncology?
Description
Nano-bodies are single domain antibodies of about 15 Kda capable of recognizing antigens in a specific way with an affinity comparable to monoclonal antibodies. They are very flexible and can be used in many therapeutic applications. In nuclear medicine, in particular in oncology, their excellent intra-tumoral diffusion makes them particularly interesting for applications as an imaging agent in scintigraphy but also as an agent for vectorized internal radiotherapy. Especially since many means exist and allow easy radiolabeling of nano-bodies. In cancerology and nuclear medicine, we are seeing more and more nano-bodies in clinical and preclinical trials, whether for diagnosis or therapy. Their ever-increasing number presents them as a new generation of radiopharmaceutical in oncology
Abstract (French)
(auteur)
