Detection of synchrotron radiation by Nb-based superconducting tunnel junctions
- 1. Kyushu Univ., Fukuoka (Japan). Faculty of Engineering
Description
X-rays extracted from synchrotron radiation were detected by Nb-based superconducting tunnel junctions. Measurements were carried out under severe noisy circumstances. Spectra of X-rays were obtained for energies in a range of 4 to 15 keV. The energy for single electron collection increased by 20% at X-ray energies from 4 to 15 keV. (author)
