Low energy pion-nucleus scattering
Description
Recent experiments on low energy pion-nucleus scattering are reviewed. Tere has been a significant increase in π- scattering data at energies below 80 MeV. Analysis of an impressive amount of π+ scattering data yields interesting systematic variation in optical model parameters. New experimental techniques and prospects for the near future are discussed
