Description

Highlights: • DCIS upgraded to invasive cancer shows fast and strong enhancement on ultrafast MRI. • Size, maximum enhancement and slope can predict the histologic upgrade of DCIS. • Preoperative ultrafast MRI could be useful for deciding surgical management. The purpose of this study was to investigate the usefulness of ultrafast MRI with conventional dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE)-MRI for predicting histologic upgrade of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) to invasive cancer.
