Expert system in PNC, 3

Numerous data have been obtained at Tokai Reprocessing Plant throughout the plant operation and maintenance since opening in 1977. To take advantage of the plant data for establishing reprocessing technology in Japan, data base systems which have functions for accumulating, storing and retrieving the data have been developed, and most of them are in use. In addition, network and instruction systems are being developed to support plant operation. The knowledge and the experience obtained from the data evaluation and analysis are reflected in the systems. Tokai Reprocessing Plant Monitoring System, Instruction System and Tokai Reprocessing Plant Maintenance Support System, as three representative developments, are described. (author)
