We review electron correlation effect in quasicrystal, focusing on heavy Fermi liquid in Yb- and Ce-based approximant crystals, non-Fermi liquid or quantum critical phenomenon in Au-Al-Yb quasicrystal, and bulk superconductivity in Al-Zn-Mg quasicrystal. (author)
