Inelastic total cross section in collisions of fast multi-charged ions with hydrogen molecule

Description
In the present work we propose a general expression for the cross sections of inelastic collisions of fast(including relativistic) multicharged ions with atomic systems, which is based on the generalization of the eikonal approximation and applicable for wide range of collision energy. For example, collisions of fast multicharged ions with hydrogen molecules are considered. we derived the simple analytical formula for the cross sections of inelastic collisions. (author)
